India - Single Origin Idukki

This single-origin cacao uses organic Indian cacao beans sourced from the green hills of the Idukki region.

The success of India Idukki is in part thanks to the fact that the cacao trees grow under the canopy of tropical forests, and are intercropped with spices, like black pepper, nutmeg, cardamom, and fruit trees such as coconut, papaya, mango, jackfruit, passion fruit and banana. It’s no wonder the beans have so much flavour!!

Expect flavour notes of rich cocoa, nuts and dried fruits, notably raisins.
